A self portrait by Artist Hannah Ostapjuk is a very rare find.

"After a detailed study into the techniques of the old masters, and in particular Rembrandt, this portrait is painted in the style and using the techniques of the old masters. I was drawn to depict such a portrait, one because I rarely paint a self portrait and two because of that beautiful lighting – another obsession of mine: light and its effects. 

However, it’s the glaze that really captures my attention when I look upon the finished piece, those eyes, that expression."
